Brought to you from the New Jersey coast Stefan Andrews's brings to the band unique song writing, lead/back up vocals and bass guitar. He played acoustic guitar on the first album "Soulgrass Review" then moved onto the bass for their second "New Southern Recipes". Having grown up listeing to oldies, classic rock, 90's alternative rock then jazz, funk, blues and "jam band" music Stefan developed a warm poppy, soul filled sound. As a young teenager he played in a few bands formed a good taste for gigging. He even played the New Jersey shore landmarks the "Stone Pony" and "The Saint", but kept music as a hobby. It wasn't till a few years later in his life long persuit of making music he made his way out to Portland, met the boys and Sugarcane was born.
